News Release
The Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship announced changes today to Super Visas:
- Super Visa holders can now stay in Canada up to 5 years before having to leave;
- They also have the option of requesting to extend their stay by up to 2 years at a time while in Canada;
- International medical insurance companies can be designated by the Minister to provide coverage to Super Visa applicants in the future.
These changes will come into effect on July 4, 2022.
